At The Right Course, we believe that meaningful employment starts with opportunity, confidence, and the right support. That’s why we’re proud to be working alongside Foston Hall, helping women develop the skills, experience, and self-belief needed to build brighter futures.

While we don’t operate a restaurant at Foston Hall, our partnership focuses on delivering practical hospitality training, one-to-one employment support, and engaging pop-up events that provide real-world learning experiences. These activities allow women to gain valuable insight into the hospitality industry while developing transferable workplace skills that will support them beyond their time at Foston Hall.

The prison is also home to Fosta, the on-site café managed by the women themselves. Fosta provides a welcoming environment where participants can develop fundamental hospitality skills, including customer service, food preparation, teamwork, communication, and daily café operations. It offers an important stepping stone for building confidence and preparing for future employment.

One of the most special aspects of Foston Hall is its thriving kitchen garden, which is lovingly cultivated and maintained by the women. The garden produces a wonderful variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers, reflecting the care, dedication, and pride invested in it. We are incredibly grateful that the women generously allow us to use ingredients from the garden during our pop-up events and training sessions. Being able to cook with produce they have grown themselves creates a genuine connection between garden and plate, showcasing the value of fresh, seasonal ingredients while celebrating the women’s hard work and achievements.

Alongside our training sessions and employment guidance, we are committed to delivering future workshops, mentoring opportunities, and special events that inspire, educate, and connect women with pathways into sustainable careers.
