Impact

We work with all our learners to give them transferable skills to gain employment in hospitality. Sometimes hospitality isn’t for them, and that’s ok, but we hope that they take the skills and behaviours that they have learnt with them. Team work, communication, eye contact and a welcoming smile and positive attitude are valuable in any industry.

Unfortunately some learners have also had to be removed from the course for security reasons. We are led by the expertise of the prison team with this decision and we won’t tolerate any abuse of the restaurant team.

We have a network for employers that are willing to give opportunities but our biggest hurdle is when graduates don’t remain in contact with us when they are released. If they do keep in contact we will continue to help them until they secure employment.
