“I was delighted to attend the launch of the Right Course at HMP Lincoln. This charity is a fantastic example of the variety and innovation that exists in the sector, and highlights the important role played by charities in the rehabilitation of prisoners. I was also pleased to see such hands-on effort from this charity’s trustees and wider team. The Right Course is already helping 80 prisoners through its growing programme, all while maintaining a spend of under £50,000. Organisations who work with relatively little but have a tremendous impact are a valued part of our sector and rightly give the public confidence to support causes like this.”
